As a guest coordinator and producer for Cignal TV's One News, I had the exciting opportunity to manage a key aspect of the station's external affairs, specifically in inviting and assisting prestigious guests for our programs. This role demanded strong organizational and communication skills, as I was tasked with reaching out to influential figures across various sectors—politics, business, academia, and more. I ensured their seamless participation, handling everything from the initial contact to post-interview follow-ups, and guaranteeing a positive experience throughout their involvement.

Beyond coordination, I was also responsible for the creative and research-intensive aspects of the segment. I conducted in-depth research, developed insightful questions, and crafted engaging lead-in scripts to create meaningful and impactful interview segments. This combination of responsibilities allowed me to contribute significantly to the quality and success of our programs.

As a news writer for One News, I had the opportunity to craft stories across a wide range of genres, immersing myself in topics like showbiz, politics, environmental issues, economic trends, currency markets, and the latest social media buzz. My role extended beyond writing, as I covered trending topics and breaking news, ensuring our audience received timely, accurate, and compelling information.

In addition to writing, I was responsible for researching and curating visual elements—graphics, photos, videos, and other TV materials—to enhance the storytelling in my assigned news segments. These elements were then refined and finalized by our editorial team. This multifaceted role not only honed my writing skills and deepened my understanding of various subjects but also taught me the importance of selecting the right visuals to meet the expectations of our television audience. The result was a more engaging, informative, and impactful viewing experience.

Below are the podcast shows of DLSU-D 95.9 Green FM News and Public Affairs Department, where I played a crucial role as the Talent Coordinator. In this capacity, I was responsible for contacting, coordinating, and securing guests for the weekly episodes, contributing to the successful production of engaging and informative content.

The following episodes feature my role as a co-host and anchor in the DLSU-D 95.9 Green FM News and Public Affairs programs titled, “Kahel On Live” Online News Program and “Tutok Lasalyano” Online and Radio News Program where I actively contributed to the hosting and anchoring duties, communicating insights and facilitating discussions on various topics.

Voiceover Materials

My experience in doing Voiceover projects both freelance and academically not only demonstrates my communication skills but also serves as an asset in creating publicity materials. Knowing that it is an essential talent that adds extra layer of impact in conveying messages with an engaging voice in PR materials, I ensured to develop the certain skill set.

During my internship at Cignal TV’s One News, I had the privilege of voicing numerous news reports every weekday. This role placed me at the forefront of delivering the day's most important stories, allowing me to hone my skills in broadcast journalism. Each report, ranging from 1 to 3 minutes, covered a broad spectrum of hard-hitting news genres, including politics, government affairs, international relations, economic developments, public policies, and major national events.
